The lotus flower symbolises a beauty that rises above even the dirtiest water. A person can rise above evil with the inner beauty of the spirit.

One more lotus flower Buddha quote:

Lotus is a symbol of purity, peace, enlightenment, rebirth, beauty, and fertility. It is viewed as sacred by Hindus and Buddhists. Buddha was said to sleep on a lotus six months of the year, and Buddhist heaven is sometimes represented as a field of flowering sacred lotuses. According to Hinduism, inside each human on earth is the spirit of the sacred lotus.

Lotus flower is one gentleman, she silt but don't dye, rather than QingLian zhuo, is beautiful faery ---
