John 15:10
"If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love."

There is nothing about what happens if you don't obey his commandments, maybe the same as if you do.  Smiley

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

Which God are we talking about?  Roll Eyes

My question was about God that Christians believe in, that's why I posted it on Christian Forum, and used a quote from Bible, where an "IF" is in the quote. In some other Bible quotes, the God's love seemed to me like unconditional:

John 4:9-12
"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us."

Do you think that all religions talk about the same God? Is love of the God you believe in unconditional?

I think that if there is a God, then there is only one God. But no one can prove God's existence and attributes, so every religio has their own vision of God.
But if we are talking about Christianity, if God's love was unconditional, then there would be no Hell.

God's love would  be unconditional if God equals love, as some say. But we can see that it isn't. Unfortunately.

Parents punish their children, but it doesn't mean they don't love them.
