Are science and religion dealing with same problems and topics in different ways and rely on different methodologies, or they cover completely different topics?

Science is dealing with facts systematically arranged, and this knowledge is gained through observation and experimentation. Religion deals with some same, and some different topics, but the main difference is methodology. Religion doesn't need facts.

Science and religion are both trying to describe reality, but in their own way.
